Hello! We are your hosts, Ben and Heather.
Just to inform any prospective guests, we are now proud parents of a little girl, born in November 2017; we want to make sure hopeful guests making bookings for 2018 are aware of this, although we will do our best to keep noise to a minimum during your time here.
Having moved up from the South of England in June 2016, we found ourselves in this beautiful part of the country, which we believe would be a shame not to share with others.
We are both keen outdoors-y people and very easy to get along with. We enjoy a few drinks, having a giggle and watching the sun slowly set with a barbecue sizzling away!
Ben is a freelance Tree Surgeon and Gardener, assisting local people within the area and currently working on the Balnagown Estate, belonging to Harrod's owner Mr. Al Fayed.
Heather is an ex-English Teacher and Accounts Assistant now enjoying a slower pace of life working within the local community.
If you have any questions, please contact us via email or telephone and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Unfortunately, mobile phone signal is not so good here, so please leave a message if you can!
We look forward to hearing from you.

From Inverness via A9, follow North (Thurso/Wick).
Once you see a large sign for Bonar Bridge & Lairg - B1976, then a second sign for Skiach Services, come off the main road here and follow the road all the way to the end (Struie Road - 20 mins drive).
From here, there is a junction with an AA booth to the left side. Turn left and follow road through Ardgay to Bonar Bridge.
At Bonar Bridge, cross the bridge itself and turn left with the butchers to your right and the river to your left.
Follow the road all the way to Lairg (around 15 mins).
Once into Lairg, turn right into the High Street beside large car park area (Tweed Shop will be on your left and Highland Hotel on your right a little further up).
Drive through Lairg out toward Rogart/The Mound. Take second right - after the long straight there is a left-hand turn with a house to your right side. Here, there is a small road, turn down here and follow under the Railway Bridge. Follow road up the hill and round until you see a small derelict on your right and then our sign 'Amberskye Annexe' at 84 Tomich just after, also on the right.
From The North via A9, turn off toward Lairg and Rogart at The Mound.
This road will take you all the way into Lairg.
Just before you come into Lairg village (after around 20 mins driving), there is a small hidden turning on your left, signposted as a hidden junction, and a house also on your left to mark the turning.
Come down this road, under the Railway Brdige. Follow road up the hill and round until you see a small derelict on your right and then our sign 'Amberskye Annexe' at 84 Tomich just after, also on the right.
The nearest station is Lairg, however, we are just around 2 miles away from the station.
If this will be your mode of transport, please let us know and we'll happily collect you when your train arrives.
If you have flown into Inverness, the airport is based in Ardersier, 20 mins from the City.
There is only a bus or taxi service from the airport, which is over an hour away from us up here in Lairg.
If you are able to make your way into Inverness, the train station is right next to the bus terminal. Here you can board a train to Lairg, however, they aren't very frequent, so please check this before you book.
If you are coming in late to Inverness, we may be able to arrange a pickup for petrol costs of £20, if you let us know in advance.
